2015 Summer Highlights
We would like to congratulate the Blue Hill Farm horses on a successful summer. Blue Hill Farm’s Tahiti Island competed in several Grand Prix classes this summer in Kentucky and Cleveland, earning a fifth place in the 25k Hagyard Grand Prix and a seventh in the Cleveland Welcome Prix. Rebecca was able to compete this summer on Little Gancho. They placed 3rd in the 50th Anniversary Cleveland Grand Prix and 4th in the Hagyard Grand Prix at the Kentucky Horse Park. “Gancho” has since been sold to Moonlite Beach Stables, and Marc Grock has taken over the reins. “Gancho” has been a wonderful horse and we are very excited to see him perform with his new rider.
Blue Hill Farm’s newest horse, Antonis, came to his first show in America and won two out of three classes and has been sold to Britany Hildebrand and trainer Patty Roberts of Houston Texas. We wish Britany the best of luck with “Tony.”
Melissa Welker has had a great summer tour on Col De Knolton. Together they jumped clear in 5 out of 7 Adult Amateur Jumper Classics.
Clifford, our very special equitation horse, has been continuing his winning ways. With rider, Hayley Mairano, Clifford won the Maclay Medal at the Kentucky Summer Classic, the USEF Talent Search at the Vermont Summer Festival, and was third in the Connecticut Medal Finals. Clifford will continue to show this fall with Hayley in several of the major equitation finals.
